I ended up playing a bit of saz with the FRO ("conducted improvisation"). Alistair Zaldua, the conductor, sensitive to the fact that I'd be drowned out by the inevitable sonic chaos, intentionally brought me in to noodle solo at the beginning while Kristin Frederickson did her experimental puppetry thing. After that my presence was primarily visual, but it was nice to be involved...great electronic soloing, Shakespeare cutups, imaginative conductions, etc.
