Free Range returns — Janek Schaefer's Day of the Demons

The first Free Range event of this series.

Janek Schaefer — samples, electronics, etc.

The performance was based on an album he's made with Charlamagne Palestine, which he talked about for a bit first. He put the album on a turntable and then started bringing in sounds gradually over the top of that. A vintage early 80's boom box, of which he spoke very fondly, was also involved! About an hour I think, with lights dimmed and people encouraged to lie on cushions on the floor.
