Canterbury Sans Frontières: Episode 15

A special episode of CSF: an in-depth exploration of Robert Wyatt's 2003 Cuckooland, released to coincide with Canterbury Christchurch University music department's 2014 Sounds New festival, this album being one of the festival themes. As well as a number of tracks from Cuckooland, works by Wyatt's various collaborators on the album are featured, including Brian Eno, David Gilmour, Phil Manzanera, Paul Weller, Gilad Atzmon, Annie Whitehead, et al.). The central hour of this extended episode consists of a playlist provided directly by Robert himself, including some of his favourite records of all time, including Coltrane, Stravinsky, Mingus, Ellington, Nina Simone and Billie Holiday.
