A mildly shambolic version of Michael Hurley's song recorded at Jeff Sachs' studio in Wisconsin as part of the sessions for a solo album by my friend Stef Lee of Sloppy Joe. Mandolin by Nate Sitzmann.

Stef had taught us this song down at the Suwannee Springfest weeks earlier (learned off a paper plate by candlelight, as I remember it). Apparently Michael Hurley took the words from someone else's poem.
