selecting at Smugglers Records shop

I got invited over to play a DJ set and give a talk about my book You Are Here in the record shop (also a cafe/bar) after Tom Farrer's slick indie band Desert Planes played. In the end I just DJ'd, as Will G. and I couldn't get the projector working, and I couldn't imagine that the handful of Deal residents chatting and drinking beer would have appreciated a local history lecture about somewhere else. I ended up selecting some folkie stuff, prog, into modal jazz, while chatting to Will's friend (not his son) Henry about mathematical philosophy and shared enthusiasms for heavy American bands Earth and Bardo Pond.
