Not the usual Hello Skinny lineup — I can't recall who was missing. But I was surprised and delighted to learn that the trombonist joining them was Peter Zummo. My attention had been seized by his "The Tape is Chill", heard one morning on freeform WFMU some weeks earlier and then played it on my podcast, knowing very little about this American experimental composer and experimentalist. I should have said hello, really, but was feeling a bit introverted that night.
